Get excited folks. The Green Park Inn will be booking weddings for the 2011 season!
Built in 1882, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Green Park was extensively refurbished and restored in the fall of 2010. Rooms are now available for ski season and they put the final touches on the bar, Restaurant and Banquet Rooms this winter.
If you are dreaming of a Blowing Rock wedding, this unique indoor venue could be a great fit for you. They have hired local Chef James Welch (former chef at Crippen's in Blowing Rock) to head up their restaurant. I've spoken with him and from what I hear, he will work a wonderful meal around your taste and budget.
They don't have all of their information ready to put out to the public quite yet but if you're interested in more information I'd be more than happy to accompany you over there to meet with them and scope out the venue.
